Madison Plummer is a Dance Filmmaker based in the Boston area. She is the Founder and Festival Director of the Boston Dance Film Festival. Professionally, Madison spends her time producing feature length films for various ballroom studios in Boston and LA. Madison graduated from Skidmore College with a Bachelor’s of Science in Studio Art, a concentration in Digital Media, and a double-minor in Dance and Media & Film Studies. She combines her love of circus partner acrobatics, contemporary dance, and ballroom dance into the films she produces, incorporating themes of partner work and connection. Madison is a professional member for the Project31 Dance Company and the Rumba y Timbal Salsa Company, where she is the head of their “Lifts and Tricks” program.
